Business of Football Summit
The Business of Football Summit returns in 2024 for its sixth edition to continue its exploration of the financial forces transforming the game. As more private capital floods into football, a number of clubs could be next on the acquisition list and at high valuations. The dominance of the Premier League and the overall wealth gap between elite clubs and the rest of football are likely to remain a big talking point, even as regulatory structures are tightened. The FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand will further heighten the focus on commercialisation of the women's game, while new technologies and disruptive streaming platforms shake up football media generally and the way fans engage with their clubs.
The Business of Football Summit will gather leading investors, club and league executives, regulators, broadcasters, tech innovators, advisors and other key influencers to discuss these issues and much more. They will share their insights in discussion with FT journalists, both in-person in London and virtually before a global audience.
